A background in psychology and behavior analysis is preferred but not required to apply.
The Applied Behavior Analysis program admits students once a year. You may begin your studies in the Fall semester.
Please complete the online application by clicking here. Students are admitted to the program in the Fall semester. Applications for the Fall semester open each December 1 and close on the following February 28.
The program is only available to full-time students and requires a full-time commitment.
Students enrolled in 9 or more credits are considered full-time during fall and spring semesters and 3 credits during summer semesters. The maximum number of credits allowed for full-time study is 12 for each semester.
Courses are not offered online, all courses are in-person courses.
The program is completed in 2 years during 6 consecutive semesters.
It may be possible to transfer some credits if they match the course content provided by our courses as required by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board®. Transfer credit request will be evaluated on an individual basis by the Program Director.
Applicants can prepare for a possible interview by reviewing their reasons for wanting to study behavior analysis at the University of Miami and their plans after graduation.
